After Forever Shrek, recounted earlier in the previous sequel, Shrek live happily with his wife and children. However, it was boring for all of Shrek, who longs for adventure and challenge.He then made an agreement with Ogre to restore his life like the past. Shrek suddenly thrown into the world parallels where none recognized him, including his wife and friends.
